Neat Neutrals

As soon as it hits winter I’m always finding I have my black, navy and grey pieces on high rotation. But one combination a really love to dust off from the back of my wardrobe every now and again is my whites and beige’s. Although they scream summer and make you dream of those warmer days; on one of those odd sunny days in winter, I find outfits like this so refreshing.

Winter can get so dark and gloomy that it almost seems silly to wear something so contrasting, but I find it not only makes you stand out from the sea of dark winter coats and layers, it actually makes you feel lighter and brighter. All you girls know what I mean when I say an outfit can dramatically effect your mood. If I’m not happy with my outfit, I’m not happy! Shallow, yes. But my outfit is me, if it’s not right, neither am I.

Light, crisp colours and styles in a season that is far from that are a great way to mix up your wardrobe and channel those happy and carefree summer vibes. Don’t forget about those classic neutrals that get shoved to the back of your wardrobe in winter, they can be that fashion pick me up you need.
