Olieve & Olie

I came across this brand about a year ago now. I was given their Vanilla Lip Balm as a Christmas present and I fell in love instantly. The balm is so creamy with moisture that lasts for hours. Even when I’ve been a bit slack at applying balm, and my lips are cracking and peeling, one application of this and they are soft and plump again.

The natural light brown colour of the ingredients also means it applies perfectly over antique rose and nude shade lipsticks without ruining the colour. If you are anything like me and hate wearing just lipstick as they make your lips look and feel dry; this balm is a god send!

Until one day when I dropped and smashed my balm and I was absolutely devastated! But now, I’m so grateful that I did because it sent me desperately to the Olieve & Olie website to purchase another one, and that’s when I discovered their Sweet Orange & Geranium Body Butter. I now have their new Bergamot, Clary Sage & Geranium Body Butter too which is just as delicious smelling!

It has only been in the last couple of months (when I was too lazy forgot to buy a new night cream) that I started to use the body butter as a face moisturiser as well. And I won’t ever go back. In the last two years my skin went from oily teenage skin to dry and coarse almost instantly and it was starting to make my makeup look horrible. I find a thin application before bed makes my makeup keep much nicer the following day.

On top of all this, the products are all natural, handmade, reasonably priced, and most importantly have Instagram worthy packaging!
